Scroll below for Photojunction's own free template collections for digital albums
We hope the templates you can access from this page inspire you to take full advantage of the design possibilities of Photojunction.
The templates were created in Photojunction, but they are the intellectual property of the album manufacturer or designer who created them (the illustrative images are the work of the photographer). When you click on a link, a new window will open and take you to the template owner's website.
using the templates
After downloading them to your computer, you can import the templates from the Photojunction template Window. Then, after placing a template on the page you simply drag and drop images onto the placeholders.
Once you have downloaded the templates you can reorganise them in Photojunction as you wish, moving them into new collections of your choosing and deleting any individual layouts you don't want. See the Photojunction Guide for full instructions.
Once you've designed your album in Photojunction you can export the image files for printing, or, if you wish, enhance the layouts further in Photoshop.
easy and versatile
In publicising these template collections we certainly don't intend to stifle your own creativity or encourage the idea that creating templates is "too hard for me." In fact Photojunction makes it easy.
1. Treat the templates as a starting point and a source of design ideas. Use them as is, or modify them to suit the images that you want to display in them. We think you will want to do this regularly, so in Photojunction we've made it easy to unlock the layout and make any changes necessary to suit your images.
2. You can easily rescale and modify (if necessary) digital templates to suit similar album sizes from the same or another supplier. We don't recommend rescaling matted templates as this risks changing the aperture sizes.
3. You can even save your modifications as new templates of your own.
a note for designers

The following templates, for digital (rather than matted) albums are free for you to download and use. There are templates for vertical, horizontal and square albums. They may be easily re-sized to suit specific album vendor sizes as described on the main Template page and in the Photojunction Guide. If you’re not using resources from a pre-configured supplier, take care to set up the page dimensions accurately before you start album design. Each template collection consists of one album.
To preview a collection, first download the PDF file from the second column in the table below. The templates themselves are available compressed to suit either the Mac or Windows OS.
