The Start Window opens whenever you start the program or close all other windows. It offers you a list of the most recent Events and Products you’ve worked on. Alternatively you can click through to the Project Browser to view a list of all your past work, or create a new Event.

Start a New Project

The Start a New Project button takes you to the Project Setup Wizard to set up a new Client and Event. It's the button you need to click if this is your first time to use the software. You will be asked to:

• Create a new Client (if you don't want to establish a new Client you should go to Browse Existing Projects), and

• Create a new Event for that Client (eg their wedding), and
  

• Link the images associated with the event, and

• If you wish, start designing a Product (such as an album).

Browse Existing Projects

Click the Browse Existing Projects icon to open the Project Browser. This calls up a list of all the Clients, Events and Products you’ve entered to date, rather than just the most recent ones. Go to The Project Browser for more details.

Go to a recent Event (eg a wedding)

This panel lists the five most recent Events you’ve worked on, and the Clients to whom they relate. Click anywhere on any Event and the Event Window will open so that you can continue work on it.

Note: this is a list of recent Events, not recent Clients. New Clients will not appear until they have at least one linked Event.

Go to a recent Product (eg an album or slideshow)

Under the Recent Event list there is a second list of the five most recent Products you’ve worked on, together with the Clients and Events they relate to. In other words, you can go directly to the Product (eg an album) instead of having to go via Event Window.
